    Cool Usage of "introduction"

I would like a clarification on the usage of the word introduction ... when and how do we use "introduction to", and "introduction of".
Whch of the following sentences are correct when talking about having introduced some principles to people.
    1. Introduction of the 4 principles ...
    2. Introduction to the 4 principles ...
    Regards
    Rahul

The first expression focuses on the principles to be introduced while the second addresses the person(s) to whom the principles are being introduced..."Let me introduce you to my friends'...here the focus is on the person to whom certain persons are being introduced..."It's time for the introduction of guests"..focus is on the guests being introduced.

    Does this help?

'The introduction of the 4 principles into the debate, by the speaker, created a long and heated discussions among those present.'

'The speaker's introduction to the 4 principles was what caused the long and heated discussion, rather than the principles themselves.'
