Hello; In this exercise, letter c is correct only because ''in which...'' has an explaining role? In general, using no comma between dependent clauses is not correct, right?

A better title would have been Crisis.
Extract from the Posting Guidelines:
'Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.'
But the correct answer is appointed to be: ''The story is about how loyalty to a friend can
create a moral crisis in which conventional values are
challenged ''. To put a comma after ''crisis'' will change the meaning, not turn it wrong, right? In general, we must use commas to separate dependent clauses; However, in such case, inserting a comma would change the meaning. Am I correct? Thank you.
