Could 'which' refer to New York?

He told me about his new job in New York, which he appears to be enjoying very much.

I believe 'which' refers to 'job'. But could it be misinterpreted as referring to New York?

    Thanks.

It is ambiguous. He could be enjoying New York or his job.

    Thanks, SoothingDave.

How should the sentence be phrased to remove ambiguity?

Re: Could 'which' refer to New York?

He lives in New York, where he has a job which he enjoys very much.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
