Pronunciation of "r'" in "report" and "ignorance"

    Dear Teachers

In the YouTube clip below, I hear that "R" sounds like an "L" in "Report" at 0:01 and "ignoRance"at 0:05. Is that my mistake? And, what kind of accents are in the clip?

    Please advise.

    Cheers

    Anthony the learner

They're not l sounds. They're rolled r sounds. It is a characteristic of older Received Pronunciation.
