As long as it fits the context, it's fine. Some people will say "I want to go to sleep now" but I see nothing wrong with your sentence.

To me, it sounds stilted and formal. In the UK, we'd be more likely to say things like...........

"I think I'm ready for bed."
"Time I was sleeping, I think."
"I'm really tired. I think I'm ready for a good sleep."
"It's past my bed-time. I'm off for a sleep."

The only time I'd expect to hear, "I want to sleep now" would be in a hospital when a patient has become tired by visitors and uses it as a polite way to tell them it's time to go.

It's fine. Actually it's better than fine. It's the shortest and most elegant way to say it. Only rather well-educated people speak that way.
