    Question infinitive

    his stories began to have unhappy endings. ( help me pick out the infinitive in this sentence.)

    It's fairly evident if you know what an infinitive is. Research the meaning of the term, infinitive, and see if you can find it.

    I would expect a teacher whose native language is English to recognise an infinitive and to have acquired the habit of starting each sentence with a capital letter.
