    Exclamation Past Perfect

    I need an example of a sentence...and if this one is ok? I FOUND THAT OFFICE BECAUSE YOU HAD TOLD ME BEFORE HOW TO GET THERE

    Yes, Past perfect is used to express that event A in the past preceded event B (also in the past, but more recent than A).

    He had already started by the time I arrived.

    She had finished her dinner before we picked her up.
