    Is this sentence nativelike?

    Hi
Would you help me make this sentence more nativelike?

Language as a social phenomenon is always changing under the influence of different
factors among the most important of which are gender, age and education as
    social variables.

    Thanks

Are "gender, age and education" "different factors" or are they "social variables"? It seems as if you are identifying them twice.

Try writing it as two sentences.

Gender, age and education are social factors which affect language.

That's better. I still don't know what purpose "as social variables" serves in the sentence. It would read just fine without it.

I want to focus that gender, age and education are social variables.
I want to say social variables affect language.
Social variables are among keywords in my research.
