    Transylvanian?

"Miles, is Roman," my landlord began in his Transylvanian-sounding drawl.

Does Transylvanian here refer to a certain accent from that place?
Can this word be used to describe slow, lifeless vocie (as "drawl" refers to?)
    in general?

    Re: Transylvanian?

When I hear that word, I think of Dracula, which would fit with some landlords.
