Were you to have + past participle

In IF CLAUSE structures, I have known the inversion of if clauses like the sentences below:
+ If you read this book, you would realise its value.
--> Were you to read this book, you would realise its value.
+ And I have also read a sentence in a book:
" Were you to have turned left at the lights, you would have got here ten minutes earlier."
I wonder if this sentence is the inversion of if clause:
--> If you had turned left at the lights, you would have got here ten minutes earlier."

The second has virtually the same meaning as the first, but it is not an inversion of it.

If you were to have turned ... - were you to have turned ...
If you had turned ... - had you turned ....
