Hi,
Are these sentences natural to a native ear?
1. These guys don’t come to (the) work until 10am. (should I use ‘the’?)
2. It is has happened second time this week. I have been here for a year and has never happened to me before this.
3. Whatever happened to plain old hardwork in this business. ( it was a sarcastic remark at the fact that people in my business try to take shortcuts to get success)
Thanks,
MG
