Hi
A single gramophone record nowadays may earn much more in royalties than the films of the past ever did.
Does it mean the records earn more money for the composer in comparison with the films in the past. Do they really? Do people spend more nowadays on records than on films? How about 'royalty'? what had it got to do here?
P.S. The text is about the pop stars that enjoy a style of living which was once prerogative of royalty.
Thanks a million.
