    once / ever

    1. What are the differences between once and ever?

    2. I remember we once visited our uncle in Australia and clebrated christmas on the beach.

    can I use ever instead of once:
    I remember we ever visited our uncle in Australia and clebrated christmas on the beach.

    Thank you.

    Re: once / ever

    Once = one time
    Ever = at any time
    So, you can't replace it.
    Have you ever visited Australia? = at any time in your life
    Yes- I visited it once to see my uncle. = one time
