I have time and again wondered whether as well as is really a preposition and nothing more, as stated by many of my Eng teachers.
So, it's perfectly ok to say:
It's useful for your studies as well as your career.
However, can I say:
We will mark on their scripts as well as providing comments by highlighting their mistakes.
PROVIDING? TO PROVIDE? or just PROVIDE?
