    "Domestic technology" is the technology associated with doing domestic chores (housework) so it refers to washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, hoovers etc.

    Adding "That's ... for you" around anything at all is a phrase that means "Well, that is just typical of that particular thing".
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
