    Neither- negative Neither of the boys liked it. (two boys disliked it)
    Either- questions Do you like either of them? (You have a choice of two and might like one or both)
    Either- choice You can take either bus. (two buses- it doesn't matter which you take- they both go the same way, but you only need to catch one)
    Both- positive- Both of us were tired (two people were tired)
