    the bold and the beautiful

    Hello,
What does the word "bold" mean in the title of the famous soap opera? My teacher told us that "bold" means "very rich".

    Thank you in advance.

Your teacher needs to buy a new dictionary.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
