    Doom-laden hue

    Please expain to me the meaning of the sentence below. Thanks


    Even the overall picture that emerges from the combination of events tends to derive much of its doom-laden hue as a resulty of being examined with the benefit of hindsight.

    It's a terrible sentence, but the meaning of "doom-laden hue", in this context, is "pessimistic".
