Hello there , I am a student from Algeria where we learn English as a second language .

So we had a test in English , and at the correction i didn't agree with the teacher about the first question.

Here is the text:

imgur(dot)com/oyOSL

She said that the answer to the first question is:

The text is: a WEBSITE ADDRESS

and I answered: A NEWSPAPER ARTICLE

She told me that her answer is correct because of the url under the text :-?

and I said it can't be a website address because it's a text! Rather the second option should have been a website article

Now I want to know who's wrong?

What do you think, And why?

Welcome to the forum, Ayoubbob. :hi:

As you are studying English, please try to use capital letters appropriately.

On this occasion, your teacher is mistaken. The text is an adaptation of a newspaper website article. None of the answers provided is really appropriate, in my opinion. 'Newspaper article' is the closest.

***** NOT A TEACHER *****

Hello,

I think that most native speakers would ask "I want to know who is right."

James

P.S. I do not know the reason. Maybe being positive is better than being negative.

Well I think that's because I was certain she was wrong, but I needed to make sure.

But i think you're right it's better to be positive.:)
