Will checking the status of my application affect my place in the processing queue/li

    1) Will checking the status of my application affect my place in the processing queue/line?

    2) The stated processing time is 11 months. When does time calculation begin? From the day it was sent or from the day it was received by the office?

    Are the above sentences correct?
