What are the odds that we win the war

How is it correct to say: "What are the odds that we win the war?" or "What are the odds for us to win the war?"

    Both are pretty fine.

The first seems much more natural to me.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

Yes you are right. In fact it does the same to me as well.
But even saying so, I find nothing wrong with the second one.

Re: What are the odds that we win the war

What are the odds on us winning the war?

I find the second example in the original post very unnatural.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

So do I. Another possiblity would be "What are the odds against us winning this war".
