Difference between forms creating-creation, implementing-implementation, preparing-

I am not sure how much those forms differ from each other and that is why I am wondering if they can be used as a mutual replacement.
    For example should I write:
    a) cooperate on creation and implementation ......
    or
    b) cooperate on creating and implementing .......
    or
    c) both (a and b) are correct.

Second example with "preparation". Should I wrie:
    a) My responbilities included preparation of market analyses.
    or
    b) My responbilities included preparing of market analyses.
    c) both correct.

Is there any rule connected with usage of those forms?

    Thanks in advance.

If you remove "of" from "b", both are correct.
