Hello everyone,

My question deals with the article. Which is better: 'I'll have done my lessons by midday and then will go to the skating rink' or 'I'll have done my lessons by THE midday...'
If it's the afternoon or morning/evening, there're no questions about the article, as THE will be a must (at least as I see it). But what about midday and midnight? Thanks for your help in advance!

Middday and midnight are times of the day. No article is required.

Thank you very much. I felt it that the article isn't necessary, but couldn't understand why. Thanks again.
