    the people to assure the safety of....

    Are these sentences correct:

    1-Our security agents are the people to assure the safety of the site.

    Meaning: Our security agents are the people who are to assure the safety of the site

    2-They are the people to carry tasers in the building.

    Meaning: They are the people who are to carry tasers in the building.

    I wouldn't use "to assure" or "to carry".
