in the department or at the department

In my tenure at the corporate communication department, I looked after the following work(s):

    1).....

    2).....

    3).....

    a) Should it be at the department or in the department?

    b) Is there any formal word to substitute "look after"?

I was responsible for the following:

    - xxxxx
    - xxxxx
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
