    You can change it to "although" and keep the same meaning.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    You only need to leave a space after a comma, not before it.

    The odd punctuation may be down to the writing systems as the exclamation mark is also strange in my browser.
