Pronunciation of "is" within a sentence.

    Hi,

Please how "is" is pronounced within a sentence.

For example: "He is a teacher."

    Thanks.

Re: Pronunciation of "is" within a sentence.

It is pronounced /ɪz/ if the full form is used. In normal conversation it is almost always contracted to /z/.
