Hi everyone,

I am really interested in teaching. Now, I draw lesson plans for my fresher class. I feel nervous getting start sometimes.

Years ago, I taught English to 3 to 12 years old Burmese students in a migrant school in Mae Sot, Thailand. Happy to share my knowledge with them.

I am now planning to teach Burmese students who are different ages. The course will be for three months.

Do you think I need to draw the whole lesson plans for three months first? I need your all suggestions....

Is the lesson plan important before opening the class?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum, Thu Ta Sen. :hi:

I think it's important to have an outline plan of what you intend to teach over the three months, but not to draw up individual lesson plans that far ahead. If your first lesson does not go as planned, you may have to re-think the whole thing. Each detailed lesson plan depends in some way on what happened in the preceding lesson, in my opinion.
