Hello,
Is the phrase " written record" correct here ,please?
"Please, send me an email because I want to have a written record confirming what we said".
Thanks a lot
Will

You don't have to say "confirming" either.
Please send me an email so I have a written record of what we said.
Depending on the context, it might be more appropriate to end with "... a written record of what we agreed" or "... a written record of what you are offering" or similar.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
