'I don't have much time' is natural English, but 'I have much time', though grammatically correct, sounds strange- we tend to use 'a lot of' in the positive.

but i have a lot of time for you

As I am a new member here and non a native speaker, I would like to know that just to makre sure using much with negative and a lot of or it does not matter at all !!

Both can be used with uncountable nouns so both of them are correct in my opinion
