    the ninth conference in respect of .... (is this structure correct in English?)

    the ninth conferece in respect of engineer's day

    Is this phrase used in English. I want to say this conference is held in respect of engineer's day.
    Do they say 'in respect of " in such situation?

    I don't know what you mean by 'in respect of'.
