    Conjunction: Although

I was asked to join two sentences "My sister is a shy girl. She is one of the top debaters in her school." with "Although" in front. I have two answers in mind, but I'm not sure if they convey the same meaning.

    1) Although my sister is a shy girl, she is one of the top debaters in her school.

    2) Although my sister is one of the top debaters in her school, she is a shy girl.

    Please help, thanks.

    Re: Conjunction: Although

Both of your attempts are fine but the first is more natural and the comparison between the two facets of her personality make more sense in the order of the first.
