    Grammar

    Hi English teachers,
    Is the below sentence acceptable?
I have come across a wallet and have given it to the police.

    Re: Grammar

It would be more natural as "I came across (or "found") a wallet and [I] have given it to the police".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
