Hi, is it possible to use commas when listing actions with the word 'and'?
"The mother will call when she comes into the house, and the child will recognise the parent’s voice and come running and call back."
Is this sentence grammatically correct?
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
Thanks for your answer! Your suggestion is so much better.
But out of curiosity, if I wanted to keep the ands in the sentence and just change the use of punctuation (if needed), would I need to place any commas in the sentence? Or does it read OK as it stands?
