[Grammar] using "I'm feeling sad / hungry / happy / good / well ..." gramatically correct?

using "I'm feeling sad / hungry / happy / good / well ..." gramatically correct?

I've read / heard this is formally incorrect, as well as that it is 100% grammatically correct to use V+ing with some verbs such as love, like, feel...

Opinions?
