How should this question be asked?

    Hi,

I was wondering how to make a question the answer to which is something like 'I'm the 3rd child in (of?!) the family'.

'what's your order in the family?'
'What order do you stand in your family?'

The questions above are only suggestions I've heard. I am interested to know what the informal way of asking such a question is. Thanks a lot.

There's a general point here. If you have a question, particularly a general one, there's a good chance it's been dealt with already. Please do a bit of research on this site before asking a question for the umpteenth time - 'When someone asks how often a question has been asked and answered, how do I answer if the answer is umpteen-1?'
