    with love

At the beginning of the book the author writes: For Tom, Jason, Mary etc. with love.

What does "with love" mean here? I understand that he dedicates this book to this people. Maybe "With love I dedicate this book to ...."?

    Re: with love

He is dedicating the book to people for whom he feels great affection — love, even.
