    I have some uncertainty:

    "The company put profits above/over safety"
    "The company valued profits above/over safety"


    Is it above or over?

    I would use "above" in both those examples but I honestly can't say that "over" is wrong.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
