Having trouble understanding the meaning of this paragraph

"........sometimes of course , they drank too much, and the prophet Isaiah was driven to complain , priest and prophet are addicted to strong drink and bemused with wine, clamouring in their cups, confirmed topers, hiccuping in drunken stuper, every table is covered with vomit."

Is this paragraph part of the bible?

How should I explain this sentence with the very
    clamour meaning as "
shout, yell; demand noisily, claim noisily " ???

and what does the whole sentence mean?

    Thank you in advance

Is this paragraph part of the bible? I have no idea. Where did you find it?

How should I explain this sentence with the very verb "clamour" meaning as "shout, yell; demand noisily, claim noisily"? As you can see from this link, it means "to make a loud noise or outcry".

and What does the whole sentence mean? It means that Isaiah sometimes complained that the priests and prophets drank too much alcohol, got drunk, were noisy and vomited. Which part confused you?

    Thank you in advance.
Please see my comments/answers above in red. I have also made a few corrections to your post, mainly to the spacing. Remember that we do not put a space before a comma. I don't know if it's a typo made by you, or if the original gave the unusual (incorrect) spelling, but "stuper" should say "stupor".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Re: Having trouble understanding the meaning of this paragraph

I found the text in one of my books but when I searched the paragraph on the Internet I got the idea that maybe it's a verse from the Bible.

As about the spacing I tried to write the sentence exactly similar to the one that I found in the book.

What I don't understand from the sentence is mainly this phrase "Clamouring in their cups". How is this possible to clamour in cup? Or to shout in cup?
And does hiccuping here means throwing up?

Re: Having trouble understanding the meaning of this paragraph

As far as I'm concerned, "clamouring in their cups" means "making a lot of noise while drunk". If the spacing around the commas was exactly as you found it in your book, you might want to look for a different book.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
