Can 'discipline' be 'incorporated' in children?

    Hi,

I think this is a wrong collocation and I hope you'll help me get the right one. It must mean something like when 'discipline' naturally becomes a part of them. (Internalised? Instilled? Integrated?!) :(

    I'd go for 'instilled'.

Once upon a time, I imagine the phrase would have been "beaten into". However, we live in more enlightened times and "instilled" would be my choice too.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

You're probably mistaking 'incorporated' for 'inculcated'.
