    LEARNING SOUTH AFRICAN ACCENT

I toured on a City Bus in Cape Town, South Africa, recently. The beautiful (recorded) speaking voice of the narrator was like honey. I would love to find a place to listen and learn to improve my speech to be more similar to this well spoken woman. Can someone direct me please? Glenda Wise

    Re: LEARNING SOUTH AFRICAN ACCENT

I would say that a South African accent is one of the hardest for other native speakers to replicate. I imagine you can find plenty of South African radio stations broadcasting on the internet so listening to them would be a start.

I've discovered you have a duplicate thread in the "Ask a Teacher" section so I'm closing this thread. Please don't duplicate questions.
