    not being

    Hi,

    1- Don't answer the questions not about you!

    2- Don't answer the questions not being about you!

    3- Don't speak to people not from your country.

    4- Don't speak to people not being from your country.

    Are the sentences I have written above grammatically correct or must I put 'relative clause' before 'not' ? For examle,

    1- Don't answer the questions which are not about you!

    As you can see above, 1 and 3 are right, 2 and 4 are not. "Which are" is optional in sentence 1, and in sentence 3 it would be "who are".
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
