    Talking 16-When

    Dear all
    Hello
Can we omit (WHEN) in a dependent clause? And please explain the reason in each case .(if we CAN omit "when" or NOT).
e.g~ I forgot the date when you arrived .
of course, I know that I can replace "when" by "which" and "that" . Or in this sentence; Can we omit "when" and "why" ?
e.g~ I'll always remember the day when she was born .

    thanks a million

    Matilda

    Re: 16-When

Where you have the day/date/time, is when really necessary?
