Hi,
According to Oxford dictionary, the word 'wretched' is pronounced as /retʃɪd/.
But, I have learned that words ending in voiceless consonants should be pronounced with /t/ at the end. And words that end with /d/ or /t/ should be pronounced with /id/ at the end.
Is my rule wrong?
Thanks.
