    in things

    Hello,

I think I've heard or read this phrase before, but I am googling and I can't find any examples.

I refer to sentences such as:

Japan imitates the West in things lifestyle.
    or
He is not very choosy in things cars.

Is my memory betraying me or is this phrase common? If so, it it particularly informal?

    Thanx!

Either your memory is betraying you or you have seen some extremely poorly written sentences. I'm afraid "in things lifestyle" and "in things cars" make no sense at all.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Thanks! I'll try to delete the neurones corresponding to this information.
