    It would be "on board" not "on the board."

    It might be a person's first flight on board a particular plane, but if it is the first flight the plane has made, then "maiden flight" is the correct term, as Tdol said.

    This is my first flight on board a Boeing 737.
    This is the maiden flight of this Boeing 737.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
