We are a small group of England and Hungary based computer developers. We would like to ask for your kind approval to include your company logo in our new logo quiz game.
We plan to release the Android version of the game in early summer and an iOS version later this year. The essence of the game is that we show a logo or part of the logo to the user and she has to figure out, which company's or organization's logo is it.
Later information
We will send you screenshots of the application when it's ready for release. We will also inform you when the app is available for download on the Play Store and App Store.
Positive/negative effects
We believe that to be part of this game will have no negative effect on your company. On the other hand the involvement will increase company goodwill, reputation or even sales. We expect one million downloads in a year. Most of this will be in the 18-40 age group.
Our opt out approval system
We decided to use an opt out system with the logo approvals. Please forgive us for this policy. We chose this because we believe that many companies won't answer this letter. An opt in system would make this approach unsuccessful. Please note that our competitors don't ask for approval. They just use the logos. We believe that this approach is better. We also believe that our application will be better than the others available on the market on all other aspects, too.
You can decide to opt out at any time. We won't include you logo in our game or we will withdraw it if it is already released. In the latter case please give us 30 days for removing your logo from the game.
You can decide to defer the inclusion of your logo for 60 days after you obtained this e-mail. Just indicate that you need time for the decision. If you are happy to have your logo in our game, please indicate this as soon as possible, because we definitely include those logos first, from where we received a positive answer.
Logos
If you have an official company logo you would like to send us, please send it in png or jpg format. Otherwise we will resort to images we find on the Internet. These images might include unofficial or outdated logos, even if we try the best.
Short delineation of the company
If the user can not figure out the name of the company from the logo, she can decide to see a short delineation of the company. We will write this short, at most 100 character long sentences, but if you like, you can send one to us. We will include it happily.
Legal status
Please note that this is a small application developed by a small group of individuals and we have no lawyer in our team.
We have no legal ruling or EULA. For the end users the (strict) rules of Google Play Store and Apple Store apply.
We hereby confirm that we won't use your logo in any other way, only in this application.
