Can [STRIKE]sone one[/STRIKE] someone help with the below sentence?

I will be taking a couple of days off next week and I have updated the calendar.

Is it correct to have future and present tense in the same sentence or does it have to be split [STRIKE]in to[/STRIKE] into two sentences?

[STRIKE]Thansk[/STRIKE] Thanks.

Please see my amendments to your example sentence and also to the rest of your post. Remember that we don't put a space before a question mark, and that you must end every sentence with a single punctuation mark.

You can have different tenses in the same sentence. Note that some people will disagree with the term "future tense" but that's a topic for another thread.

Apologies, I completely forgot to answer the question in my previous post. Yes, it is possible to have a mixture of tenses in a single sentence.

I was walking along the street when I realised I had had my wallen stolen, so I went to the police station and they said they would be contacting me later for a full statement.

Welcome to the forums, ch102.

Please note that 'I have updated the calendar' is the present perfect tense - not the present tense.
