I read the President Obama's speech to study English, and at the very end of the speech, I came across the most difficult part.
I'd like to know:

1. what the "this cycle of rising gas prices" means. What does "this cycle" refer to?
2. what the "bumper-sticker slogans" mean. I know they are the stickers for cars, but don't understand what the President intended to say.
3. why the president said "remember why weíre here".

Ending this cycle of rising gas prices wonít be easy, and it wonít happen overnight. But thatís why you sent us to Washington Ė to solve tough problems like this one. So Iím going to keep doing everything I can to help you save money on gas, both right now and in the future. I hope politicians from both sides of the aisle join me. Letís put aside the bumper-sticker slogans, remember why weíre here, and get things done for the American people.
