One of my brothers-in-laws son who is a doctor

One of my brothers-in-laws son who is a doctor attends to me whenever I am sick.

Is the part is bold correct to mean that I have several brothers-in-law but one of them has a son who is a doctor? If not, how should it be reworded?

    Thanks.

[QUOTE=Tan Elaine;972747]You'd need to say something like, "The doctor who attends me when I am sick is the son of one of my brothers-in-law".

Re: One of my brothers-in-laws son who is a doctor

    Thanks, 5jj

One of my brothers-in-law’s son who is a doctor attends to me whenever I am sick.
    The doctor who
attends me when I am sick is the son of one of my brothers-in-law".

I notice that you use 'attends me' without the 'to' which my sentence has.
I believe it should be 'attends me' without the 'to'. Am I right?

    Thanks.

I used the transitive verb in sense #3 here.
